I'm an animal person, and am looking to possibly pursue a career where i can directly work with them.
are there any professions that don't involve as much medical care as a vet, but also offer a reasonable wage?
im open to suggestions that require (or don't require) college education.

A medical vocation is always worth considering, from nurses and surgeons right down to hospital cleaning staff. The site in the box below has some brilliant instruction on entering this noble industry. My brother got some brilliant help from there prior to securing a vocation as a medical admin assistant.
