How do you create a peaceful home?
I'm trying to compile a list of rules/guidelines for creating and keeping a peaceful home. Ideally this would be able to apply to roommates and family alike. Basically manners, etiquette, and ways to respect each other.
Please be specific. "respect each other" is not specific, "always use please and thank you," is specific.

1. Clean up behind yourself.
2. Be kind and treat others as you would like to be treated.
3. No Violence....I repeat No Violence
4. Give each other space...for example, if your rooming with someone, make it a point to go out for a few hours every week to give your roommate a mental breather.
5. Replace what you use. Example food, toilet tissue & ect.
6. Don't be loud at inappropriate times. Example, blasting your music when others are sleeping.
I'll add more when I can think of more, but that is the basics.
