Believing in Islam because of Science?

Does it not suffice us that we have the most pure definition of montheism an all perfect omnipotent Master and we have a clearly defined purpose, and a concept of After life that is so just, and prophets who came with pure messages, and a book that answers the deepest most fundamental questions of our very being?

The Sahabah did not need science to tell them to become Muslim, and it was an obligation on mankind to believe in Islam even before those scientific discoveries were confirmed in Quran.

If you are not pleased with what Allah had given as proof for this religion before these scientific discoveries, then will you ever be convinced for sure.

Yes its true that there are some miraculous things about things foretold in Quran, but its very simple for someone who doubts to say this could have been known other ways. But it is not simple to doubt the creed of Islam, for that you need to reject truth.

Update:

@- i didn't say to become muslim by what the sahabh did, but be muslims by realizing the fundamentals of Islam are true, di you not read what i wrote, my example of the sahabah who were the best of Islam is that they did not need science to believe in it.

I am just saying that Islam was obligatory to believe in even before anyone knew about Islam.

I would rather base my foundation on belief of the correct Islamic aqeedah then on scientific ayat. And what ore do you desire of a method than telling people to believe in the fundamentals of Islam, does that not make you content.

Of course there is 'ijaaz in the ayat but think about the fundamentals of the deen and realize their simplicity yet how they are unmatched by any other religion.

May Allah allow us to see the truth as truth and cause us to follow it, and may He cause us to show us falsehood as falsehood and cause us to abstain from it.

Update 2:

Lets ignore the sahabah who had the prophet, how about everyone else commanded to believe before these discoveries?

Update 3:

@ Ahmed truth depends on the degree of definition because what is being defined is the truth, it is either defined as something rational or something bogus and false. Your question seemed very philosophical to me answer is quite simple.

Salaam brother..its just another aspect of showing the superiority of the knowledge in the Qur'aan. I personally know of brothers who have become very strong in the religion after learning of the scientific facts in it, as well as nonmuslims who have been trully amazed by it.

Having said that, it has its limitations but we never said this is the best example of the miracle of the Qur'aan. However, its benefit cannot be denied especially by the people who almost worship science.

So be balanced, teach the Qur'aan and its knowledge as a whole, and show where it is amazing and contains knowledge from all aspects, which PUT TOGETHER could not have come from any other than God.

    Wassalaamu alaykum.

Islam is a 100% verifiable religion, as new discoveries are made the Quran continue to amaze us, there is nothing wrong to use it to further strengthen our faith. The Sahaba had the added advantage of the Prophet Pbuh among them.

And know that God’s Apostle is among you: were he to comply with your inclinations in each and every case, you would be bound to come to harm [as a community]. But as it is, God has caused [your] faith to be dear to you, and has given it beauty in your hearts, and has made hateful to you all denial of the truth, and all iniquity, and all rebellion [against what is good]. Such indeed are they who follow the right course Quran 49:07

We have the Prophet's Pbuh delivered message, if some of us can use science to verify the authenticity of the message then surly there is nothing wrong with it. In fact it keeps us from being taken for a ride with the "our scholars are better than your scholars" nonsense of the sect scene.

It's because islam is a complete way of life,

@billy everything you say just deflects off us. It's not even offensive. Your like a bug, it's a nuisance when it's around but you can easily flick it off and you know its ignorent so it's going to keep coming back.

    Edit:

i think billy removed his comment lol

Why does the truth of an ideology follow from its degree of definition?

Brother but that is begging the question, truth is assumed and not proven in your case.

So in other words, you expect non muslims to become muslim by showing them what the "sahaba" did?

Do you really think anyone cares?

Alhamdulilah its Allah (Swt) who guides people and not anyone else.....since your methods leave lots to be desired.
