What does it mean when I receive a spam email from MY email address (ie: viagra emails)?

I have received a few emails from "me" - my email address and the subject is some spam add (ie: viagra). I have changed my password twice and noticed it again this morning.

It is possible that the spammer is just running a program that forges the recipient's address as the sender in every spam. This makes the spam harder to filter. If that is happening, the sender displayed in your Inbox (or Spam box) will probably be your email address.

A spammer might have your password and could be spamming from your account. Most of the time they would spam the address book, and they would not send the spam to your own address unless you have your address listed in your address book. If a spam is coming to you from your own Yahoo account you would see the sender displayed in your Inbox (or Spam box) as the real name you have listed with your Yahoo account.

You can send a test message to yourself to see how a message to yourself displays.

If the spam really is coming from your account after you have changed your password, there are two likely possibilities. The spammer could have planted an alternate email address in your account settings. He can then keep requesting the new "lost" password from Yahoo.

Some webpages have malicious scripts that tell logged-in webmail to spam the address book. Avoid clicking the links within the spam.

This is spoofing. It didn't really go through your email account. It came from another place, but they put your email as the return address. There is not anything you can do about it, and it does not mean that they have access to your email account.
