Anybody else think Yahoo! Answers suck now?

Question

There is nothing wrong with the site itself. It is the type of answers that are given and the type of questions asked. Ten years ago, Yahoo Answers were filled with mature questions and people were quite helpful. Now, you can't even ask a serious question most of the time without getting hateful, rude, immature, or just downright sarcastic answers. Most of the questions asked are silly, for example girls asking for celebrities numbers (uhhh...I doubt anyone on Y!A has Justin Bieber's number) and people asking dumb racist questions.

What's happening? Are there new regulations that have attracted weirdoes and wack-jobs?

Since it's summer, kids & teens are hanging out here. Y!A is still good, just hang out in categories with more "mature" users.

there are stupid nine year old kids and 12 year old kids that are using their mommy and daddy's e-mail accounts or creating fake yahoo answers accounts and ruining it with their immaturity. Also, stupid people with nothing better to do are trying to get points and end up writing the same spam on every question. It bothers me. I still like the site tho :P

This is a everybody place. Just look for the good questions or wait for the good answers. There's still people that answers good. My problem is that I don't read long questions. And sometimes my jokes are taken wrong ha ha, oh well.

It depends on the person who is serious about having a question and the person who answers can chose what and how to answer appropriately.

It's because it is the summer, thats why but I agree that yahoo has changed over the years.

I agree, i am guessing that there are more kids online these days and with nothing to do, they spam yahoo answers..
