When i try to make a video on my Sony Cyber Shot camera, the sound doesn't work. Any ideas why it won't?

I'm talking loud enough, so it's not that.

Please help!

    Many cameras don't have a speaker, just a bleeper thingy for the camera's operational sounds. You only hear the audio when you download to your computer or use the AV link to a television.

    Some cameras don't have a microphone at all. As far as I know, Sonys do have microphones.

    Are you sure your camera has a microphone? Many don't. Also have you checked to see if it's possibly turned off? Check your owner's manual.
