Alternative products for skinID?
Hi! So I'm 16 and I have (in the last year) developed an acne problem. I have tried Proactive (which didn't help at all) and just recently started using skinID. It cleared up about 40-50% of my acne but i'm not satisfied mainly because of the high price. I have small bumps that are just the color of my skin all over my forehead and constantly break out mainly on my nose and the cheek area by the nose. I currently use the skinID cream cleanser and the anti-acne treatment, and follow it with biore nourish moisture lotion. I'm looking for stuff to use instead of skinID because it is too expensive! So basically I need a good DRUGSTORE cleanser and some sort of benzoyl peroxide treatment. And if you have a better moisturizer recommendation, that would help too. I don't like to use "acne moisturizers"just because I find them to dry out my skin ALOT. Any other skin tips that you have for me would be great too!! Thank you so much! :]

clean and clear acne advantage treatment is affordable and definetly works better than proactiv. but if your willing to spend a little more you can et murad which is sold at sephora its a 3 step kit and it is amazing it works in just a few days and you can definetly see the difference. Or you can try murad tablet you take 2 in the morning and 2 at night its a 1 month supply and it works.for moisturizers olay is affordable and it works just like the more expensive creams

I have oily/combination skin... I've seriously tried so many facial cleansers, and nothing seemed to work. But a few things that seemed to work a bit better: grind up oatmeal (don't cook it first, just leave it raw) in a blender and when you wash your face put a bit of oatmeal in the palm of your hand with a bit of water to make a paste and use it as a facial scrub. It's nice because oatmeal is naturally moisturizing but doesn't make your skin oily. (it's also good for sensitive skin.) You can also try the same thing with cornmeal, but it's a bit more abrasive on the skin. A good thing for oily skin is to use a nice toner. All the skin care products I use I've found at an organic health food store... it's a good place to find skin care products because they're all natural and good for people with sensitive skin. I usually wash my face in the morning, use toner and a moisturizer, and then just wash it at night but don't use toner or moisturizer. It's possible that your skin is getting worse because of stress, or an allergy (like dairy, for example), but really, our bodies change hormonally all the time, and so does our skin. Any skin care products that you use will probably have to be trial-and-error for you: no one can really tell you what the "best" product is, since everyone's skin is different. Don't give up though! Just keep trying different things!
