Brett Favre is available in my fantasy league, should I pick him up?

Is it too much of a gamble? Will he even have a season that is good enough to have him on my team? Also Beanie Wells is available, Montario Hardesty, Joseph Addai, Cedric Benson, and Ryan Grant are my RB's. Should i pick up Wells or wont he be much of a factor in AZ? Thanks for answering!

Update:

Qb's- Eli Manning, Alex Smith

Rb's-Ryan Grant, Cedric Benson, Montario Hardesty, Joseph Addai

Wr's-Hines Ward, Pierre Garcon, Dez Bryant, Eddie Royal, Braylon Edwards

Te's-Jeremichael Finley, Visanthe Shiancoe

Why is Beanie Wells available in your league? That's insane. Pick him up.

I don't think there's any risk in taking Favre if you're simply plucking him off the waiver wire. He's coming back. Anyone who says different probably doesn't care or just doesn't want him back.

He's 40 and could get hurt, but if he stays healthy, I don't see how he can have a bad season with such a stacked offense and a supporting defense.

I would drop Hardesty and pick up Wells, and then drop Royal or Edwards to pick up Favre. Once he officially returns, you can trade/drop Smith, and then add the next best available skill player.

How can anyone answer that with the lack of information you provided? Seriously...

"Will he even have a season that is good enough to have him on my team?" Doesn't that depend on who is on your team right now? If you've got Peyton Manning and Matt Schaub as your QB's, then you don't need him... but how do I know.

Sounds like you are playing in a 4 team league, if Farve and Beanie Wells are available. Is Miles Austin out there too?

Tell us who your worst players are currently, and then maybe we'll have an idea if Farve or Wells is worth having.

It all matters on who is on your team. I would gamble with Favre and drop your last round pick or your kicker. You will know before the season starts if he is coming back and you can get a kicker anytime once the season starts. You have good running backs but if you can afford Wells then drop one of your late round picks for him. Hope this helps.

Know what I did last year, I started the earliest draft possible and being a ffb rookie picked him by accident. I would take the risk, because the reward is worth it considering his return is relying on his health which is fine.

Pick up Wells, because if Leinhart fails they will need to rely on him to carry the teams offense.

No, there is absolutely no guarantee he's coming back, too much of a risk, i'd go for at least somebody that is guaranteed to play.

if you have a sucky garbage player then ditch him for favre, its a good gamble, and who is hardesty?
