Which is better for shipping a bike? UPS or Fedex?
I guess to further expand, I'm shipping my own bike to another state in the US so I can ride it there and I want to know which is the cheapest and more reliable company to do so.

i have ordered a few bikes and i don't really see the difference, both have send bike that the box look like it had been dragged behind the truck....but they are packed well so i have never had the bike damaged only the box
If your shipping I would also look in to DHL, they seem to take a little more care and are about he price of UPS,... fedex will be by far the most expensive but is know for the best in reliability

actually if its all boxed & you are willing to drop it off yourself at a freight depot & pick it up at a freight depot i would use www.shipalliance.com. with them the price will be right around $85. you can even fill out their freight quote form to get an exact price if you want

Why not just measure & weigh the box, then call for shipping rates.
