Still have a puffy face one week after allergic reaction?

I had a bladder infection and was prescribed Sulfa, which I ended up being allergic to. My face got puffy and my whole body became irritated, including my lymph nodes in my neck/jaw. I took benadryl and I'm better now and not as swollen, but my face is still puffy and bigger-looking, it's almost a week. My lymph nodes are still a bit swollen and the glands in my lower face are swollen. I was reading some information on the lymphatic system, and I think the antibiotics irritated my lymph system, and created some kind of blockage or congestion, and it's not flowing right or something. This is actually not the first time this has happened to me. I was wondering how to get rid of this? Water pills? I heard rebounding is good (jumping up and down). I am just tired of the puffy face and things don't seem to be moving right because I have excess fluid in my face. Do you think I am right about what's going on here? When I talk to Dr's sometimes they think it's all in my head, which it certainly isn't. Any advice or experience? Face still puffy, and just took a Diurex water pill to see if that will help get out the excess fluid and move the lymph along?

Thank you.

You have already tried diuretic. Let's hope it will solve your problem.Anyway, I think it may take some more time but you will be normal. A feeling of tightness in the skin may be causing you to think your face is puffy while it may not be looking that bad. That's why doctor also didn't take it seriously. Give it 2-3 days, you will be ok.

    All the best!
