can two crested gecko's live together?
Okay so right now I have an eyelash crested gecko. I got him for free because some lady started telling me that she has a Crested gecko she can't take care of because it was her son's gecko but he wasn't there to take care of it. anyway we went to go look at him. i already said i'd take him and i had no clue what i was taking home. but i got him for free. came with a cage but it was just a small square cage. so i spent 200 on him and got him a bigger cage. OKAY i was wondering if i can put 2 crested geckos in the same cage. I'm looking into getting another one!!! Thank you

I have two female cresties together and they are OK, their habitat is really big and they don't bother each other at all. Generally reptiles are soliltary and are always better alone but some species do better than others with company and lots of people keep cresties together with no problems.
Are you sure your gecko is male? Because you shouldn't get another male if so. And if you get a female she'll be producing eggs constantly which will be bad for her. it is possible, just have a good think about it.
Aren't cresties the cutest lizards? I love mine.

If that cage is big enough for ur two hands im sure those geckos would have enough space and remember that its better to have higher width becuse they love to climb! Before putting them completely together u should introduce them so they know they wont get harm or start fighting females can fight but rearly....My answer is Yes as long as they are botth females or one female and male with enough space for them!!

For every crestie you need an extra 10 gallons. A single crestie can live in a 10 gallon minimum, 2 in a 20 gallon, etc. Only females should live together though, males usually fight. Even females fight sometimes, you never know.

if it is atleast a 20 gallon tank then yes, two males will fight to the death and if you get a female and a male yes they will lay eggs but it is amazing and a cool exp. if you have a kid, they will think it's the coolest thing and it's very easy to raise them! just a few months out of the year they will have to be seperated, or get one male and up to 4 females so females get a break if you know what i mean
