I dont really like modern dance i think its kinda sloppy and just plain boring and unchallenging like i dont enjoy watching it or anything (no offence to modern dancers its not that i dislike the actual dancers) but maybe thats just because im dead set on contemporary jazz lol but i was wondering what ur thought are on modern dance and if you like it oor not?

I don't particularly like modern I do prefer Contemporary but sometimes, I like watching modern dance. My modern teacher has kept me in the same level for two years and I moved up in all other levels of dance but I feel I might quit modern sometime soon because I don't really like the teacher or the style.

Modern dance vs. contemporary dance is like comparing apples and oranges.
Personally, I like some modern dancers. I think some can do it well, but a lot of them are sloppy. I will always have respect for contemporary dancers though, they're definitely much more classy if they're doing it right.

modern dance is right for a certain type of person. Most of the time, it's rather slow moving and soft. If you are an upbeat kind of person, jazz is right for you.

to me modern dance is really boring.sorry do not mean to offend anyone. i think that it is to slow and not really entertaining.
