I could tell you I'm a 20 year old single guy. I could send you pictures to prove it. In reality I'm a 50 year old married man. Unless you meet them in person you will never know if they are lying or not. It they are lying then it could be a really bad idea to meet them in person......

Some will tell the truth, some won't. If you are a minor, you should definitely involve your parents if you wish to personally meet an internet friend in person.

some do tell the truth some dont, its a risk if you want to become there friend.. they could be genuine or a pedo or sometihng? i wouldnt tell anyone do much about yourself, if you dont no them personally. but you could talk to them enough they could be your friend.... hope this helps :)
