Is frostwire OR mpfree safe/legal ?

are these legitimate?.......? Any reviews or better sites?

    They're neither safe nor legal.

    Obviously if you're getting the music for free, it's not legal, and there are risks with some of the files on those programs.

    I used Limewire, and I try to stay safe with which files I download by checking the file sizes and time lengths.
