Which is the better laptop?
I will be starting college in about 3 weeks and was going to buy a laptop and have it narrowed down to two choices Sony Vaio EB Series and Dell Studio 15 (1558). I will be using it for mainly class work and media (videos, music, etc.) so which would be the best choice.

HI Alex,
Both these laptops will be great for college. The biggest advantage of the Sony Vaio EB is the Blu-ray player, but if that is not that important to you, you may want to save a little money on the Dell. Hmm I have worked on dell laptops and have had bad experiences with them and desktops. I havent used a sony laptop but since sony makes alot of good stuff I'd say they're good. Toshiba is also a good laptop manufacturer
