why do people ask these type of questions?

Like, "who invented the first wrist watch?" When all they have to do is google it and find the answer here?

Some people rely on all their questions for this site. If you look there sometimes the info is hard to understand and it may be wrong. Here you can see what many people think. Get different names and then see how many web pages state those names and even it out the most said one. Yahoo answers has a more accurate method and allows a few people to learn it not just one.

I wonder the same thing. It takes more time to come to this site and type in a question and wait for a response than it would be to google it.

I would say they are lazy, but that doesn't make sense, they choose to go through more trouble than it's worth.

So I guess my answer is, just like "how many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop?"

    The world may never know.

The same reason you posted this question. All you had to do was search YA and read the answers to the first 1000 users asking the same thing. Ego trip, to see their q in print
