What is the maximum acceptable number of prior partners for a woman...before marriage in Greece?

I definitely have to say that there is a double standard when it comes to this topic... I would first have to say it depends on age.. and obviously the less the better... lol, no but seriously if you meet a beautiful smart girl who has all the qualities you are looking for you cant really judge her on that.. the past is the past... Its not like we're in the 1940's and 1950's girls are having alot more sex today and they are starting off young..

Well I dont doubt that theory at all... I have a few friends that are girls, that were parrty animals.. and they have settled down and who would never guess that they lived that life..

but in a lot of cases guys and girls need to go crazy and party before they settle down..

Your question however touches a very soft issue in most European societies.

The woman who knowingly in a small community, has had too many partners will be avoided by the male population of that community, yet, those women manage to have very successful marriages with people who may have not known of their past and unless there is malicious intent in informing them, they have a good life.

I had long time ago a relation with a young woman in a small Greek town and she was commonly thought as a slut that she had jumped into too many beds. Yet, that woman, apart from being easy to make a relation she was anything but easy. In fact she was virgin and she remained so after our affair too.Well, that woman had dug her own grave. I met her 10 years later and she still was unmarried. In the same town, I had another encounter with someone else, supposedly innocent as a lamb. Only, she was the grey bad wolf. She had it all. In just about the same period later, I found her a respectful member of the community with a (happy?) marriage in her life.

This goes to show what the personal handling of your love life may result into. And examples of that are countless. In fact, is all a matter of proper handling of personal circumstances, that make a woman acceptable for marriage regarding her past experiences.

In talking in numbers, a minimum of 1 or 2 previous lovers without the full details may be considered acceptable for some. For others, even themselves are one too many for their women to have had relations with.

There isn't such a thing in Greece...acceptable partners...

A young woman in Greece has her property and her work, is educated and fully able to take after herself, it's not like women here are dying for the prince to come and 'save' them, men have often very little to offer, unless you really love them.

And this is the case and not how many tries a woman have made to have a relationship.

I have never seen anybody warring about past relationships of their woman or asking such a thing, according to my knowledge at least.

Greeks marry at a late age you can say, even women, so they are quite mature to know what they want and quite mature to judge the person they are marrying to. Greeks are in general very committed to their family.

Actually that depends on the person. I certainly wouldn't touch a woman who's "been around", so to speak. I think that's disgusting.

And how would the guy know how many partners she had before marriage? Is he going to ask her " oh honey how many men have you slept with ?" or smth? LMAO

Women nowadays are thirsty for sex , mind you, they are the ones chasing the males , men do not chase them anymore.
