Anyone can explain what happened here?

I find myself stumped. I was bored and for no apparent reason took a photo of my cellphone ... right, not very imaginative. But when I took a shot of the glass, I got a weird effect. Everything BUT the glass is WAY out of focus. Can anyone explain the phenomenon?

It didn't focus on the glass, but the reflection that was in the glass. Same as focusing on a mirror, it's not focused on the plane of the mirror, but the object in the mirror.
