Virgin Mobile Users!!! Help!!! :]?
Okay, well I recently saw a commercial announcing Virgin Mobile, and I'm still deciding whether or not I should switch. (I had Cricket) I absolutley love the touch screen phone they have, omg I've been on their website non-stop...lol but anyways I think the phone is $169.00... Can anyone give me an estimate of how much a plan with unlimited web, unlimited text (and I don't really need much minutes...) how much all that would cost? Where to buy the phone? or should I order online? Do I buy a refill card? or do I pay with a debit card or something? ahhhhh I would appreciate any help :D thank you!
You both will not believe how relieved I am! :DDD Thank You So muchhhh!!!!! This was so much help! I'm going to give it a try! Hoorayyyyy I'm so excited!!! :D

Virgin Mobile is a great service provider. And I think the phone you are interested in is the Rumor Touch...on sale now for 129! I just bought it..I'm really excited.
I've had a different, cheaper phone with Virgin Mobile for a few years now, so here's what you need to do:
First buy the phone online or in stores like target or walmart. But you have to buy a Virgin Mobile brand phone for Virgin Mobile service. Then when you get your phone go online and set up your account and register your phone. It's really easy, they walk you through step by step, no tricks. And if you enter the code
fTTU6MI9 when you activate your phone you'll get 60 free minutes just for signing up.
Then you can choose your plan. It's real easy. There will be a page that says choose a plan and it will outline the beyond talk plans. The plan I have is $25 for 30 days of service for unlimited texting and web and 300 minutes. You just check the box next to the plan you want and then it will ask you for your credit/debit card to pay for it.
The beyond talk plans expire after 30 days. You have to go online and add more money for the next 30 days. I believe you can also alter your options and have Virgin Mobile automatically take money from your credit/debit card each month so you don't have to manually do it, but only if you want. It's a great deal...really the best among no contract providers right now.
If you decide you don't want the beyond talk plan one month, just stop your plan online and you can add money to your account which you can use on your terms (it doesn't expire) and pay 20 cents a minute for talk, 15 cents a text or 1.50 for a day of web.
So I know that was a long answer but it is really easy and I am sure you will have no problem figuring it out. Your best resource is virginmobileusa.com. They spell everthing out for you, black and white. Have fun picking out a phone!

Haha! I honestly think you sound like me in the 'I've been on their website non-stop.' I ordered their LG Rumor Touch phone on Sunday, but I still haven't received it yet :(
I am actually going to cancel my Verizon contract to go to Virgin Mobile. It's pretty darn affordable. It goes as low as $25 for an unlimited data, text, etc. w/ 300 minute allowance per month. I bought a Top-Up card though (at Best Buy). I've read some posts about extra credit card charges (don't take my word, please) but I'd rather be safe than sorry so I just purchased it the store. Aside from that, I've looked at YouTube videos and the phone looks amazing especially with the apps and everything. Not sure a 2-megapixel camera will cut it, but it's worth the monthly payment.
