It depends on what you like. The X360 and PS3 are on par with shooters (360: Halo 3 ODST, Gears of War. PS3: Killzone 2, Uncharted 2). Also if you own a 3D tv, you can play Wipeout, MLB 10 the show, PAIN, Motorstorm, and coming 2011, Killzone 3 in steroscopic 3D, plus Move. The Xbox 360 has currently more members online, but PSN is getting bigger. The PS3 has motion controls the uses a wand that has glowing colored ball on top which is extremely precise, and the 360 has kinect, a camera with no buttons and you have to stand up to play and it looks precise in tech demos but it is not really. The new Xbox 360 costs 299.99$ and comes with a non interchangeable 250 GB hard disk, and has 3 USB ports. The new PS3 slim costs 299. and comes with an interchangeable 120 GB hard disk, and has 2 USB ports. The new Xbox 360 still tends to break easily and still has RROD. The PS3 slim is prone to YLOD. The 360 makes a lot of fan noise and the ps3 is very silent

An Xbox slim and a PS3 slim are exactly the same price. $299.99

Want your 360 to get cooked again? Buy a new one. Want to try something different? Get a ps3.

They both have good and bad qualities. Personally I like my ps3 better than my 360. It all depends on what you want to do with it. I will tell you that the PS3 is a more advanced piece of hardware, though.

BTW - there's not going to be a price drop on the PS3 before the holidays. Sony isn't coming out with a new console for a few years so they're not going to drop the price of their only console AGAIN.

It depends on what games u play, and the new xbox 360 starts at 299. It was designed to stop the over heating problem. The ps3 slim 120 GB also starts at 299. (the new xbox 360 comes with a 250 GB hard drive. The ps3 has a blue-ray reader, and the disks wont get scratched easily.

In the end its comes down to what games to play, each have a few exclusives, its ur call

It Depends. If u go online a lot then i would choose ps3 since it has free online membership and built in wi fi but it is more expensive.

or if you dont go online then choose the first xbox 360 e.g arcade, elite because you have to pay to go online and it hasnt got wi fi unless u spend an xtra £50 but the console is cheaper than ps3

Generic Xbox 360 is 180 USD

    Generic PS3 is 200-250.

Xbox 360: Better Shooting games, RPG, and FPS. (Slightly better players)

    PS3: Better Racing, Simulations, Action

Xbox 360 is cheaper. Plus you get alot of good games cheap. I just bought PGR4 on amazon for 6.00, still new in shrinkwraps. Don't buy PS3 since they will lower the price down again before holidays. THEN, you'll have two systems. THAT'S LIVING!!! LOL.

    Ps3 Slim Cons:
