roommate help! should i move out?
recently i moved in with two other girls i've been friends with since i was little. it's been a rough start, mainly because of money issues and because of their need to have people over every day. we spoke about this a couple of days ago, and they don't seem to understand that i need my time to study in the living room. i am okay with them having friends over, but sometimes they will stay till 2 am on weekdays and they're not too quiet. i've told them to limit the amount of times they have over, but it doesn't seem to phase them. should i start looking for another place to live?
i'm in college, btw. so we don't have much space to move around and find a quiet space in.

I understand your frustration but you need to study in your room and/or library. When your home that is for relaxing and de-stressing... when you bring the stress home with you, you never get time to relax. Believe me, I worked 3rd shift 40+ hours a week and went to school full-time 14 - 16 credit hours every semester. I had a lot of stress on my shoulders and one way I remedied that was by separating work, school and free time.
I do think that 2am on a weekday is unacceptable, you need to get your sleep especially if you have early morning classes or work... so they do need to stop the party early but have fun on the weekends.
Only thing I can really offer is study somewhere else OR get a couple of pamphlets from other apartment complexes near you and look at them when they are around... if they ask, tell them "I am looking around for another apartment, as much as I love you two, us living together really isn't working out!" One, it is the truth and Two, your going to need those pamphlets if you do leave.
Best of luck.
