When is the York Ebor Horse Racing Festival and Tipster Compy?
There will be four wonderful days of Racing from the Knavesmire broadcast on ch4 and RUK. Races will start at 145pm each day.
Tuesdays Highlight is the Group 1 Juddmonte International Stakes over 1m2f,
Wednesday brings us the "Ebor Heritage Handicap" over 1m6f,
Thursday its the turn of the Group 1 Yorkshire Oaks over 1m4f and on
Friday the Group 1 Nunthorpe Stakes over 5f for 2 year olds.
Each days racing is also supplemented by other group and listed races.
Will you give the Bookie a bashing, Will you knock "the young pretender" (Kezza) of his perch.....(will you even post before he does)? Will you be crowned the King / Queen of York and receive thunderous virtual applause from all of us at the Horse Racing UK Section?
Tipster compy wil be posted on the Monday afternoon preceeding the festival...See you all then....get studying!

Mr Frisk was 1990 @16/1 des ran a course record if i remember. I had Little Polvier @28/1 in 1989.
I will need some "REST n RELAXATION" to be able to remember the 88 winner!
Jonova i must admit i hadn't a clue so i looked it up...des had jockey and year right......but Piggot wasn't the jockey when Shaftesbury won the Ebor! Greville Starkey was and it was one year before Soft Cells "Tainted Love" was best selling record of the year.

you see he has been doing his homework of late
and is getting quite good and i certainly dont have a good record in theses mini comps but will give it my best shot mark !
there is no point in me trying to google your question that wud take the fun out of it 1988 was the first year i started going to the national so i shud no it !!!! dam = ok my guess is
MR FRISK i think he was 1990 or 88 but i no he was trained by kim bailey !

Rhyme N' Reason - the jammiest winner since Foinavon. Spreadeagled on the floor at Becher's first time, Strands Of Gold going best of all when falling at Becher's second time and then poor old Durham Edition not getting home after the last!

Now I've gone and taken 3rd spot Kezza is going to be soooo angry, sorry Kezza we bow to the King of the mini compy Tipsters, he's probably dreaming all the winners as I write this.
Anyway thanks Mr. Bookie and look forward to pitting my wits, or pulling my hair out to find winners at the York meeting, let's hope the sun shines and we have some great racing ahead...good luck to all..Jac x
