I write a lot of fanfiction actually. Sometimes I write them because I'm in a certain mood, others when I'm depressed to make myself feel better, and other times because the plot bunnies won't leave me alone and nag at my brain.
I write a lot of angst/hurt/comfort stories because I like that genre. Mostly for anime but occasionally other things too.
