Have you ever wrote a fanfiction?

No, personally I find them embarrassing to read so I can't even imagine the feeling whilst writing one...

I have- well over a hundred. I write them for entertainment and post in a variety of places, and for a variety of fandoms. It started out with one I never posted years ago, when a TV show I used to watch ended on a cliffhanger and then never got renewed. I hated that it had ended like that and so I wrote another episode that would give it a proper resolution. Years later I started writing them again, this time posting them too; it was just watching a show and having an idea that you would like to see but would never end up on screen.

I also find fanfiction useful for testing the waters for new ideas or genres that I haven't done before, so that I can see how people will take them before I submit anything to publishers.
