When do you think the media will finally start to see that Kobe Bryant is BETTER than Michael Jordan?
no matter what he does or how good he is at basketball, people dont seem to want to rank him number 1 of all time. Does this have something to do with the rape charges that happened years ago? Its obvious that Kobe is far more skilled at basketball than Michael Jordan ever was. If you dont think so, lets see Kobe and Jordan play 1 on 1 right now!
What more does Kobe Bryant have to do?

LMAO. The media is the one who inflates Kobe's credentials compared to Jordan. Truth is Kobe has to do a lot more to reach Jordan's status:

Jordan was the first player in NBA history to lead the league in both scoring and steals. He achieved this feat three times. The only other player to do it is Allen Iverson.
Jordan was the first player in NBA history to record 200 steals and 100 blocks in a season. He performed this feat in back-to-back seasons, making him the only player to achieve it multiple times. Hakeem Olajuwon and Scottie Pippen later achieved 200 steals and 100 blocks in one season.
Jordan is the fourth player in NBA history to win a scoring title and an NBA championship in the same season, which he did all six times.
In 1996, Jordan became the second player in NBA history to sweep the MVP awards (regular season, NBA Finals, All-Star Game) after Willis Reed. He would sweep them again in 1998, making him the only player to do it multiple times.
Michael Jordan led the Chicago Bulls to the best regular season and combined regular season and postseason records in NBA history.
Michael Jordan is #3 all time in rebounding by a guard (behind Magic Johnson and Oscar Robertson).
Michael Jordan is #3 all time in steals per game, Kobe is #37 all time in steals per game.
Michael Jordan is #2 all time in total steals, Kobe Bryant is #28 all time in total steals.
Michael Jordan is #1 all time in blocks by a guard. Kobe Bryant isn't even in the top 10 all time blocks by a guard.
Kobe Bryant is not among the top 10 players all time in points per game.
Michael Jordan is #1 all time in points per game and #3 in points.
Even if you give Kobe ten more years of play he'll have a hard time covering those stats.
Hope this helps.

Michael Jordan is Michael Jordan. No one will be better than him. Kobe is an outstanding player, but not better than Jordan. Maybe if he manages to win 2 or 3 more rings. Then maybe we will talk.

When do you think the Kobe Bryant fans will stop comparing him to Michael Jordan and start letting him simply be Kobe Bryant?

you're joking right? kobe is skilled i know that for sure, but he even admitted jordan is better than him, his skills are not better than jordan in his prime that's for sure. did kobe play through a flu and still lead his team to win a critical game in the finals? and how many times has jordan lost in the finals huh? thats right ZERO, and how many times has kobe lost in the finals TWO
and yeah kobe would beat jordan if they played 1 on 1 right now, but guess what? jordan is 47 and no where near as great as he used to be

I love Kobe as much as the next man, but he is not, and it will be hard for him, ever to be even as great as MJ. If Kobe wins 4 or 5 straight, then he would be in the discussion for the GOAT. But when it is all said and done, Kobe will be the second greatest shooting guard, and maybe the second greatest player to ever play the game.

Kobe won't win 6 rings like jordan did

how is it obvious? r u insane? Michael Jordan right? 5 time MVP, Defensive player of the year, 6 time Finals MVP and champion? that MJ? There's no song about people wanting to be like kobe....and it still rhymes so dont gimme that ****
Kobe will never be as great as MJ, compare every season and tell me what u see, MJ was a complete player, Kobe is just a scorer i have no idea why he is on the all nba defensive team...honestly

It won't happen. Why? Because Kobe Bryant thinks it's all about him while Michael Jordan was a true team player.
