Help! I can only open SOME raw camera files but not others.?
I use a nikon cameras and i can only open some NEF files. But some say it is not the right kind of documenet. I have a codec and they are the same type of files. I also Can't preview some in bridge. WHY???? what is the difference? they are both NEF. i don't understand and i'm kinda freaking out over here.
The only difference i see in the info is that some say the color space is RGB and mention nothing about ppi. those open.
the others don't say anything about color space even though in my camera they say they are SRGB. in bridge there is nothing about color space for those and it says they are 300 ppi. but they do not open.
please help : (((

RAW files have many subtypes. Usually, the accompanying software in the camera's CD has the ability to decode RAW files taken with that camera.

Tricky. Shot with the came camera? I'd need to see a file that gives problems.
