I want to be single now and don't want a relationship. A guy asked me to the movies who clearly likes and thinks it's a date. I said yes a few days ago but I'm feeling uncomfortable about the whole idea. So, I told him no, that I wouldn't go on the date.
Was I wrong for saying that even though that's what I wanted to do?

oh gosh you're in exactly the same situation as me. its not about whether your 'right or wrong', its just your personal feelings. to be honest though, you'll regret it if you actually want to date, and you cancel. sometimes even if you think it might be uncomfortable, you might be better off trying. the worst that can happen? - you leave the cinema, etc? just take the oppurtunities while you have them :)

Well, if that's how you feel then you shouldn't make yourself do something you don't want to do.
But just because it's a date doesn't mean it's going to become a relationship.
