Waleikumussalam Wr wb.
Jazakallah Khair for your question.
To my understanding your salah (inshallah) is valid. Aslong as the size of impurity is less than the size of a dirham. - though now that you know it is there I would wash the prayer mat as it is Sunnah to do so. (if greater than a dirham then your salah would be invalid) ---Just in caase repeat your salah (your farz and witr atleast)
Did you know that flowing blood nullifies your wudhu?- If you were bleeding during salah and the blood was flowing you need to repeat your salah. (no matter the size of flow)
May Allah give us a zeal to increase our knowledge in deeni matters- and may He increase us in Iman Taqwa and knowledge.
May Allah grant us the full benefits of this blessed month.
-EDIT-
the size of a dirham is equivalent to less than a 10pence coin (but bigger than a 20pence)

If you are talking about specially based on Ramadan, as long as your blood doesn't exceeded close to small penny, you are ok.
Secondly if you are praying while its dripping, as long as you are in WUDU, and and small its ok
Third if you had wound before your WUDU and when you were praying it, as long as you blood doesn't exceeded mentioned above you salat is expectable, and you WUDU didn't break, now in the WUDU if you washed the place where you had Wound, and then you start praying and start blood its dripping on the carpet, as long as you you pray its safe but make sure you wash it after you finish pray, because sometime it not good for other, while your blood stay on carpet and if some one comes and they had wound and pray on same spot, could be issue for them, So as far as your pray is concern its valid, but as we know Allah knows best who except everybody prayer.
hope this help

if you do anything thing wrong in forgetfulness or without knowing then its not your fault. Your previous salahs are valid but since you know it now, you cannt pray on that carpet anymore.
