How can you darken/change cursor when drawing in photoshop elements ?

Yes, tell me about being hard to see. At one point I dug out a big magnifying glass and searched the workspace for the cursor and then had to keep holding the glass while I drew. There is solution: Edit>Preferences>Display and Cursors. In the left-hand box, Painting Cursors, click the radio button for Standard and you'll get a little Paintbrush or a little Pencil to draw with. Select Precise and you'll get darker crosshairs with a darker dot in the middle. Make sure "Show Crosshair In Brush Tip" is checked. If it isn't checked, click on Full Sized Brush Tip then checkmark the Show Crosshair.... option. Now, you can checkmark any of the other brushtip types and Crosshair will stay checked.
