So... I like a guy, but I'm not sure he likes me. How can I get him to ask me out?
He's extremely well read and very political. We're both in band and he jokes around with me and stuff, but he seems to not come looking for me... I would just ask him out but he broke up with his girlfriend a few weeks ago and although it was mutual and neither is broken up about it, I don't want to seem opportunistic... And knowing Murphy's Law someone I know is going to read this and it's going to backfire horribly...
He broke up with his girlfriend because she's going away to college.

ive been in a situation like this before. did you know why they broke up? if its just a few weeks i would say give it more time. you never know if they might patch things up. maybe find out what hes interested in. i believe that if people should be together, then it happens. don't be negative about it. but also, don't try to make yourself stalker-like either.

Well, just show him good attitudes and show some respect in every way. Appreciate things that he like it most for example the boy likes singing. I think that is the most difficult part of a woman who especially lived in conservative countries. As a guy, shows something that make he feel happy and comfortable. .. . . but PLEASE "don't tell him that you love him" ....
