Is it possible to overclock a hp a1630n?
Just want to know if it's possible and how would be the best way to go about it.

manufacturers such as HP prevent overclocking in the BIOS and some processors cannot be overclocked. Some intel processors and all AMD 'Black Edition' can be easily overclocked but be warned. overclocking can seriously damage your CPU as you are forcing through a higher voltage than it can handle and WILL cause instability, especially with processors not meant to be overclocked.

Not in the BIOS. Try your luck with overclocking softwares like Clockgen or SetFSB.
