What are the things that make you happy?

When things work and go right !!!

raising my daughter to live according to THE system of right and wrong, and to utilize her own mind so that she can be a successful adult. Having a job that I love to go to everyday. paying my bills and make sure we have basic necessities like food, shelter and clothes. My house key makes me happy knowing it will be here when I return. School starting makes me happy because then I can save a little $$ used on summer vacation babysitter. Having a computer and internet svc makes me happy.....I don't feel so much like a shut in. Living with in walking distance of work and school makes me happy....I do not have/need/afford a car. Having my own washer and dryer makes me happy....cleanliness is next to Godliness. I really enjoy the home I have created for us...it is an expression of who we are, and what we like, and it is stable.

I/we used to be homeless w/no $$. I am a single mom, and am making it OK! I am proud of myself. I am happy.

having a real good laugh with friends

the smell of cut grass on a hot sunny day when i'm off work

waking up at the weekend realising i don't have to get up straight away

family days out

bouncing on the trampoline in the back garden

eating a really delicious meal

spending quality time with my partner

listening to good music

being out in the Dales, walking & taking in the air & scenery

cuddles from my children

comfort from my cats

driving alone & singing along to ELO

good times with close friends

treasured photographs

comfort & safety of my own home

Most things, hearing a child laughing, in fact any laughter makes me smile.

Music, sunshine, holidays, a good meal, friends, finding something you forgot you had and it still fits!

being alive, being hugged, being in love, Arsenal winning!

When my daughter smiles at me and I see her healthy and happy and growing up. When my husband wakes up at 4.30am to go to work and he still kisses me good morning before he goes, even though he's sleepy, tired and grumpy.

Riding my motorbikes,

walking my dogs,

cooking for my man, and making him happy in as many ways as possible to see his gorgeous smile. :)
