Does it cost extra money to have internet on iphone?
i really want to buy myself and iphone but my mom will not let me purchase one if there is an extra cost for internet every month. like on the blackberry. please help i need a new phone!

Yeah, it cost around $20 a month more, and its mandatory. I would recommend Virgin Mobile to anyone who is interest in getting a great data plan at a low price. For $25 a month you can get unlimited text and web/data and 300 talk minutes. The company uses the Sprint network for its service so it has great coverage. They phone selection isn’t great and you will have to do your shopping online. Buy you won’t be locked into a plan and you could save over $500 a month. You should definitely give it a look.

The iPhone, like the Blackberry, is a smartphone. Smartphones require data plans so yes, the iPhone will cost extra to get internet (data plan) which is mandatory.
