I'd go with a corn snake. Ball pythons are usually more expensive and harder to feed. Don't get me wrong, i love them and have 3 of my own, but corn snakes are just better for beginners. Go to bhbreptiles.com. they have a wide variety and i have gotten 10 snakes from them. They are super healthy and have been alive for 3 years.

relies upon what you like a snake for. in case you go with for one that strikes around lots and makes a stable conversing factor or demonstrate animal - then you incredibly are purely right going with a corn snake because of the fact the colour morphs are purely infinite in recent times and that they are incredibly low-priced. They have been advertising for everywhere between £20 and £80 on the Doncaster reptile teach. Corns usually feed ok and are an extremely docile snake, a brilliant "starter". the dimensions differs counting on form, yet artwork on around 4 to 5 feet. they seem getting slightly extra suitable on condition that being captive bred. A corn snake is obviously, a rat snake. Royal Pythons are chunky snakes, usually docile and since the call shows, curls right into a ball and is happy to proceed to be that way a brilliant form of the time. they are marvelous animals yet not very lively. Feeding would be a real issue with Royals and can be very complicated to somebody with little adventure of managing this. cost? properly, i flow returned to the Doncaster reptile teach 2 weeks in the past, a typical Royal must be offered at many stalls for £40 each. the colour morphs for the Royal are truthfully recommendations-blowing inspite of the undeniable fact that - the only issue is that the asking expenditures for those are the two recommendations-blowing, some fetching quite a few thousand pounds each. another ingredient to contemplate is the enclosure or vivarium. Corns want room to flow around as they are very lively. Royals do not and definitely get under pressure if their section is purely too massive, in my adventure Royals look happiest while they have close, universal environment somewhat than distinctive room to spare. Do your self a favour and flow to a professional reptile save and ask, ask, ask away!! perform a little of your guy or woman study too. finally, do not purchase any animal while not having seen it feeding. i won't rigidity this adequate!!!

Corn snake for beginners, and a ball python for a second snake as you advance.
Remember that you need a tank, UTH, substrate, 2 hides, water bowl, decorations, mice/pinkies frozen and more.

I'd go with a ball python but that's only because I have a lot of them. You can go to Kingsnake.com and on their classified ads you'll find tons of corn snakes and ball pythons
