Hi.I would recommend getting the HTC Evo 4G. All touch screen phone.Go to phonescoop or cnet web site & look up the phone.click the review tab to read the pros/cons. I was on Sprint in 2008 and had the phone Samsung U740.It was a good phone.

The phone that I want is the HTC Evo 4g, but for texting I would recommend either the HTC Evo 4g or the Samsung Epic 4g. I'm currently waiting on an email to tell me when the Evo is back in stock and that is the one that is currently on sale, but the Epic should be on sale by the beginning of September and I would recommend it as well.

I have a HTC Hero and I just started using a Samsung Intercept. So far I've found that I'm not liking the Intercept as much as the Hero. The soft keys on the Intercept are sometimes unresponsive, it does not have the full screen weather animation, and I can't receive my yahoo mail.
