Would you need to breathe if you coughed your lung out?

I was coughing today and my friend challenged me to invert my lungs out of my mouth. That is to say, cough so hard that my lungs go up my trachea and out my mouth, alveoli out.

He added that I wouldn't have to breathe since my lungs would have a constant supply of oxygen. Ignoring that coughing my lungs up would probably rip them to shreds, is this true?

-.-' Yes but the bleeding that ensues would make this pointless...
