What is your biggest struggle with quilting?

Piecing, hand quilting, applique, getting new ideas ... anything goes here. If you could ask the best grandma in the world, what would you ask her about quilting?

I have the best grandmother...in-law in the world! shes amazing at quilting and I ask her questions all the time. She's only been quilting for 10 years but is "obsessed" with it and since she's retired. she knows alot.

I love piecing and applique. Hand quilting I'm now trying to learn. I don't understand it at all, so if i could ask the best grandma in the world, i would ask her how to hand quilt. Even though I'm not sure I would do it on a large quilt! :)

Spreading large (near king size) quilts out for basting/quilting in the top-batting-backing stack without getting random wrinkles and bumps in the layers. It always gets me.

Finding to time to design new quilts for my patterns company. I think I do more designing in the cold months. Maybe California isn't the best state for me to live in.
