In the UK it's centre, in the USA center. But both are correct, like theater and theatre.
The UK held onto the Norman French spellings but America did not.

when I'm writing it I use Centre, but when I'm speaking I use Center

well i was taught at school centre but this was a number of years ago ive never seen it spelled the other way at all

In the US, it's center. In Canada, Australia, UK, etc., it's centre.

I say Centre, and we invented the language therefore Im correct :)

That confuses me cause I live in the UK and they spell it Centre but that makes no sense it should be spelt Center like it is said!
