You are pretty much talking about something like pro grade OTC tool there. All the modules is the killer. Basic engine stuff is easy with OBD2 but you want to read ABS and body modules that is where you are talking about optional expensive software packs that are different depending on the make. Often there is sill a domestic pack and then an Asian and Europe pack. Big bucks. If your car(s) are pre 05 you can often get pretty good deals on used ones because shops sometimes upgrade to the newest models to stay current if someone brings then a newer car. Even used you are talking about a $1000 tool. New $3000+ depending on how many makes you want.
