I totally agree with you. I have been watching baseball all of my life, but recently I have tried getting more into cricket. Basically, baseball is like checkers and cricket is like chess. There's just so much more strategy and skill involved in cricket. Not to mention what you said, about some baseball teams not even scoring a single run, while in cricket, there's always scoring.

Cricket Baseball is boring for me, for one i don't fully understand the game, but what i do understand is that baseball has a lot of "foul balls" in them !! (shots which go out of bounds, so the shot has to be retaken). I could watch a game of baseball, but i wouldn't get any excitement out of watching it ! In cricket there is a lot more action compared to baseball (which is strange cos the American's don't usually like slow sports)
