where to enter your anuity income?

I got a nasty gram from the irs. They could not match my 1099 to my return because I entered my annuity income incorrectly (as interest). Where should I enter this information? Tax cut does not help.

$1000 gross, $300 taxable 30 with held.

It's line 16a of your form 1040, labeled "pensions and annuities."

For tax cut, it'll be under the tab that you report "income."

    BEST OF LUCK!

Go to the income section of Tax Cut and go through every screen and I am quite certain there is a place for the annuity entry.
