What age do girls start wanting sex or becoming open to the thought of having sex?

Like boys, they start thinking about it, for the most part, when they hit puberty. It's not a "barrier going down." It's just hormones acting up. If they have been molested as children, it may be earlier. That's not hormones, it's pathology.

Every place has an age of consent, under which people cannot consent to having sex. So whether or not they are thinking about sex or even actively wanting it, they are jailbait. Male or female. Be careful out there. In addition, kids who are sexually active too soon might get sent to group homes or juvie centers if their parents cannot successfully ground them.

I have know my girl for a good 2 and a half years she is 3 years older than me she is in matric so I am in 10th grade but girl start normally at 15 -16 I have had sex with my girl friend when she was 15 and she brought up the convocation so it actually differs to the girls some girl are to scared and some just want to so talk to your girlfriend many then u will be lucky

Well...i just don't wanna have sex in case I get pregnant...but i WANT sex. That only really started this year for me, I'm 16, same with my best girl friend. So i guess 16/17 is the usual age.

For me its 17, its differes for everyone.
