Do you believe we are living in the last days as spoke of in Matthew 24? Is America being punisihed?

As Rome crumbled about 1500 years ago, many thought it was the end of the world too. Same thing with the Byzantine Empire over 500 years ago. Yet, somehow, here we all are!

I think this is either in the wrong category, or it's an attack.

In the times of of the bible, homosexuality was the norm. God didn't appose it. (but though I'm christian, I don't put too much stock in the bible, since according to it, god advocated slavery, child sex, rape, incest, murder, torture, public humiliation, human sacrifice, wife beating, and other atrocities I could not approve of.

Besides, people have acclaimed the lack of love toward human kind, the thrust for power and greed, etc., for THOUSANDS of years. It's been this way non stop since before Jesus ever walked the earth, so I'm not going to hold my breath for the apocalypse.

Recently I've heard rumours of the opposite. A large shift of people becoming progressively more loving toward one an other.

I think the earthquakes happen every 15 years, as proven by scientific research and data. Lack of love toward mankind has been happening since the time of the Aztecs and tribal people, BC timing even. "Global warming," AKA "El Nino" has an opposite effect of "La Nina," making winters colder than ever. It happens periodically. Ever heard of the ice age, when everything froze over and later melted because it was that hot? Check your historical landmarks in this worlds history before quoting your book. People are returning to their primitive instincts. Fending for themselves, security, protection of the family, etc. It's all been done before.

I think people have been saying we are living in the last days ever since the character flew into heaven.

I think the problems America is facing are the consequences of corrupt leaders, corporations, and over all irresponsible spending by virtually all people living in the country, combined with an insatiable need to devour every single natural resource instead of finding better ways.

Name a time in human history where there were never wars, never a thrust for power and greed, etc. Please tell us a time. And don't tell us stuff about naked white people in a garden with a tree and a talking snake.

Yes we are and we are a very long time away from the second coming of Jesus

america hasn't seen an iota of the sh!t thats coming down the pipeline now that americans decided that they want to be free of the worship of our God and recipients of his Blessing.

who knows only time will tell but think back to ww2 ppl though hitler was the anit christ so who knows truly if its this time and not 100yrs later

i say god doesnt exist and thats all a load of crap alot of stuff happens that can be interpreted as a biblical or any other type of situation. but its not in the words of forest gump "s**t happens"

people have been saying the end is near for decades. no one knows for sure when it will happen.
