why do people give lengthy,detailed answers on YA?

sometimes it's copied from net...sometimes they really know that much and want u know that much too.....and sometimes for 10 points :D......i hope this answer is not lengthy :P

Hello kitkat, detailed answer in some cases will be due to one of the following reasons.

1. To make the questioner understand the answer without any confusion.

2. The answerer enjoys in sharing what he knows about the concept which has been asked.

3. Getting points in full, of course, will be a secondary one and not primary in all cases.

4. Finding a right platform to share and get feedback regarding the concept questioned.

People give detailed answers to help someone understand the steps behind performing a task, solving a problem, or to understand the basis of a concept.

i've got screwed up alot, yet I even have enjoyed and that's what's greater significant. i might somewhat no longer choose myself as I attempt to no longer choose others. I only attempt to do my superb. we are infants in this college domicile and skin scrapes are enormously time-honored. Time is unreal and those bodies are momentary vehicles for earthly use. we alter vehicles as we alter clothing each and daily. we are deathless and the journey of existence is an infinite unfolding into increasing perfection.

So they can help others out. A nice, simple sentence would do but a few extra details won't hurt.

Just by copy pasting others answers . Not there own thoughts. Here is an example.

some people put details in answer to clear our all doubts, they want to help us ! if their short won't satisfy us then we'll have to ask another question about the problm :)
