Are college gun bans legal?

The supreme court recently struck down both the chicago and DC gin bans, because they infringed on the 2nd amendment. In this light, are college gun bans legal?

Update:

Kevin b. You do know that is a contradiction right?

Currently, they are legal. As far as I know, no (federal) court has ever struck down a ban on guns at a college campus.

You cannot jump to conclusions and apply one decision to another case. A college and a city are not the same.

colleges are private property therefore they can ban whatever they want. The 2nd amendment does not apply. It would be like, if I did not want you to bring a gun into my house, I could order you to leave if you had a gun on you. Or for pretty much any other reason. My house my rules. The College's property, their rules.

Chicago an Washington are cities and therefore public property

Yes. Colleges can say what you can and can't bring on their property.

They are legal, but probably unconstitutional.
