Why Jailbreak IPhone?

I recently got a new IPhone 4. With everything out there about jailbreaking I wanted to ask if it was really worth it? What does that allow me to do that the IPhone 4 doesn't do itself?

I'm not really into losing my warentee for the phone, but if the benifits are enough i'll do it...

    you can down download apps like mywi that let you share your 3g with other devices you can have animated backgrounds you can download apps that cost money on the app store for free
