Wow, I dig the new look! Anyhoo, is there anything I can do to speed up my laptop that is free?
My laptop runs soooo slow, it also gets a window that says"program is not responding...end now?" and some other blah blah blah. I've deleted temp. files. defragged, disk clean-up. What else can I do cuz this thing is killing me. Especially when I have a paper due. Keep in mind that I'm broker than a convict LOL

Bypass downloading anything for now. Click>start>type in the little box "msconfig", then the start up tab. Uncheck any programs you wish to have not run on start up. :)

download a free start up cleaner to decide exactly which programs open on start up; you'll want as few opening as possible, even background progams as they all stay open and you don't even use them so they just slow you down
