Are you having , or did you ever have an affair ?
If so ,why and did you feel guilty ? did you make excuses to justify it or was it just the way you are , unable to live the monogamous life the the western world expects of us ?

There was a small overlap in the end of my first relationship with my ex boyfriend, and when i first started seing my current boyfriend. This was a period of just over a month.
Things in my first relationship were not very good, and he had cheated on me already, and treat me like rubbish. I had always been so against any form of cheating or affairs. I guess I still am. I did feel guilty, but it was more for hurting my current boyfriend.
At this point, i was so full of deep anger at my first boyfriend, that I didnt feel so guilty at the thought of hurting him, even though I knew its a bad thing to do. Im not quite sure why i didnt end thigns with the first guy sooner... But i did end it as soon as I realised that I fell in love with my current boyfriend.
Right now I love my current boyfriend to bits, and would never have an affair, or cheat on him.

Yes, I did, and no, I did not feel guilty.
I still do not feel any guilt.
Oh, and it has nothing to do with being able or not being able to live monogamously. Circumstances are locally and personally subjective.
