I highly recommend the HP Envy series. It's not ugly at all, as it's made out of a solid magnesium metal alloy. It doesn't have an ugly plastic design and it's really sophisticated. They also maintain portability, durability, and computing power, which is pretty impressive. The best ones are the 14" and the 17". The 13" and the 15" are the old, last generation Envys, and they have more issues. You should see some HP Envy videos on YouTube and check out the HP website.

I'm excited for the new Civ 5 too!

I hope you were serious about price not mattering, because a laptop capable of handling games are always costly, esp newer games like starcraft.

Anyways, I recommend looking at Asus or MSI laptops. If you care about something looking good then definitely look at MSI. You may recognize these names if you have ever shopped for individual computer parts. Well they've started making entire rigs too and they've put all the quality they're known for into them. I'm a big fan of MSI laptops and I would highly recommend you check out some of their gaming models. You won't get better quality.

    Hello

You really cant run starcraft 2 on a laptop very well, get a desktop.

I recommend IBUYPOWER.COM for gaming desktop and laptops(laptops that don't over heat when playing games)

Oh and when buying look for a laptop that has a dedicated graphics card that is 1.0 gb or more.

i favor sony or ibm. you'll be looking at a itel i7 procresser or amd quad core, windows 7 pro, about 8gigs or ram, a good separte graphics card . also a recovery disk or windows disk, and a external drive for storage, so main drive can be about 500gigs or below. heat pad for under the lappy 64 bit system
