Beginner's Guide Needed - For Web Site Building?

Hello,

I have set up my .com with Go Daddy. I paid a little extra for some security. No problem there.

I have a WYSIWYG - maybe you could recommend a couple of good ones I don't have.

What do I do Now????

How do I build a site and have it put up for the world to access by going to my registered - with Go Daddy - domain name which is like this: *********.com

P.S I want to stay away from core-programming like HTML - I did this before - it VERY slow for an amateur like me!!!

Thanks

It seems you have counted your chickens before they hatched. Now you are paying for a domain you can't even use yet. Why?

Html isn't "core-programming". Html is just simply markup. Every website uses it, and you can't build one without it. At the LEAST you must have html - and that's the least. If you're going to code a website from scratch, you're going to need coding knowledge.

If you don't want to really get to gritty with coding, you can buy Adobe Dreamweaver - it's for making website layouts and putting them together, and it will do most of the coding for you. However, this is $700 software we're talking about.

Also - I assume you only bought the domain. You're going to need hosting for a website as well. A domain is basically only a website's name - but hosting is for the actual website itself. Don't buy this just yet; and I'd recommend canceling the domain immediately until you have a website fully established and ready to go.

Well the simplest tool I know is Microsoft FrontPage, but it's also quite limited.
